We are pleased to offer you the opportunity of seeing some of the famous sights in and around Beijing. Please join us if you can on the following itinerary:

You will be collected from the hotel at 08.30 am by a private vehicle with an English speaking tour guide.
The tour will start with a visit to Tiananmen Square - the biggest downtown square in the world. Take a stroll in the square.

From the north end of Tiananmen Square, enter the Forbidden City, also called Palace Museum. Located in the centre of Beijing it was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, the Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north (duration 1.5 to 2 hours).

Have lunch on the way to Badaling Great Wall. After lunch visit a large scale jadeware processing factory. There are workshops for demonstrations of Jade carving; five interpreting rooms for you to discover the processes of Chinese jade carving and Chinese jade culture. You may take photos in the huge Jade exhibition hall and even make some purchases if you wish.

Proceed to Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is the most famous section of the Great Wall, well maintained and easy for travellers to walk along the defensive project of ancient China. You will have around 2 hours to see this wondrous site. A cable car option is also available for those of you who want to get to the top to have a bird's eye view of the Wall.

Return back to Beijing and drop off at your hotel around 6.30pm.

The cost for the above is £35.00 person. This tour must be booked in advance at the time of making your travel reservations to Beijing. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any moneys paid for the tour should the take up not reach the minimum number required.
